He was married # 2 to Louisa (unknown) and had other children, including Martha Herren who married James Huffman and they had a son Bob Huffman who moved to Brown Co, Ill.  So Bob Huffman of Brown Co, Ill. was a half cousin of my grandfather - Milton Calvin Herren , b. 23 Jan 1871 Cooperstown, Brown Co,

Milton Herren is last heard of when his land is handed over to his son Daniel Herren in 1883 - Lewis Co, Ky.

My g. grandfather Henry Clay Herren was born 17 Sep 1844 Cooperstown twp, Brown Co, Ill.  to parents: Milton Herren b. abt 1811 Mason Co, Ky. and Elizabeth Toll, b. abt 1812 Ky.  Henry Clay Herren died 22 Feb 1904 Versailles, Brown Co, Ill and is buried West Side, Versailles Cem, Brown Co, Ill.

His wife Sarah L. Dunagin was born 11 July 1848 Lewis Co, Ky.  the daughter of Anderson Dunagin and Ama (Devine) of (Devire).  Sarah L. Dunagin died 08 Jam 1880 Papinville, Bates Co., Missouri.  She is buried in the Papinville, Bates Co, Mo cemetary.

Note:  Henry Herren's sister Harriett (Herren) & her husband Alfred Doyle also lived there in Mo. and he filed for disabled vetereran there.

Note:  Calvin Herren, Henry Herren's brother and wife  Mary Walker)  also lived there.  His wife, Mary,  died there on 18 Jan 1899.   Papinville, Bates co., Mo. Cem.  Note: In 1880 Calvin Herren lived Great Bend, Barton Co., Kansas.  Calvin Herren filed for his disability Civil War Veterans pension, in Papinville, Bates Co., Mo.  Note: I have papers on him somewhere that says in what state he died, but I can't find the paper right now.  Sorry.

So there we have 3 known children of our oldest Milton Herren, b. 1811 Mason Co, Ky and last known to have lived Mower's Precinct, Lewis Co, Ky in 1880 census.  (He is the one whose above named family was in the 1850 ISR2W Cooperstown twp, Brown County, Illinois census.

Henry Clay Herren was the son of Milton Herren & Elizabeth Toll who lived in Versailles, Cooperstown twp, Brown Co, Ill as early settlers.  Henry Clay Herren's sister was Harriett Herren who married Alfred Doyle.  They lived Browning, Ill.
