Dear Susan,

She is actually buried in the Jaques Cemetery, p. 67 under other burials. You can now purchase a complete burial listing index from VAGHS and that’s how I found her. It is possible that the Berry graves were their own cemetery at one time but for now they are part of the Jaques Cemetery.

If you would like to add her death certificate to the web page, you can send a photocopy to me at:

2151 Astoria Circle #107

Herndon, VA 20170

I’ll scan it and make it available to anyone else who might like to have the information. I don’t think her death information is available in the book nor any other relationship information except her husband George Lewis Dorman.

Sincerely,

Ken Huffman

Hello!

I received a death certificate for a Mrs. Susan Ann Dorman.

She died April 19, 1922 Elkhorn Twp, Brown Co., Il.

Her maiden name was Berry and it says that she was buried in Berry Cemetery book.

Well I have the cemetery book and have looked in it and I can not find a Berry Cemetery.

I was wondering if you have ever heard of this cemetery?

and if you know of its location.

I would really like to find this cemetery and I was hoping that you could help me.

Her informant was O.G. Dorman and he was from Hersman and I am assuming that the Berry's were from Brown County, so I am assuming that this cemetery should be in Brown Co..

I thought maybe the cemetery was on their land, but do not even know if the Berrys' had land.  This is the first time I have even seen a fathers name for Susan.

Hope you can help.

Susan
