Hi Ken and Laurie,
I just rec'd some obits on relatives that I
would like to share with you:
Mrs. Clarissa Fry, wife of Michael
From the Democrat-Message dated April 19, 1872
Mrs. Clarissa Fry died at the residence of
her son, Mr. John M. Fry, near this village, on Monday, April 9th.
Mrs. Fry was born in Maryland, on the 13th
day of April , 1800. She removed to Harrison county, Ky., in her 13th year
where she was married. She removed from Kentucky to Brown coutny in the
Spring of 1851, where she has constantly resided until the day of her
death. She leaves 4 children, all of whom are now living in this
county.
Mrs. Fry was a lady beloved by all. A
sincere Christian, a true friend, kind and motherly to all, she has passed from
our midst in the fullness of years and in the scar and yellow leaf of a
beautiful and lovely old age. Lightly rest the turf above the remains of
Clarissa Fry.
(Widow of Michael Fry, son of Jacob Fry).
