Dear Sandra,

I don’t know if the information I’m giving below is the person you are looking for but it’s the only one that is a near match.

From Cemeteries of Brown County, Illinois

Hoover Cemetery (Dobey), pp. 16-17

Henry Hoover, 9 Apr 1822 – 15 May 1898

Polly, wife of Henry Hoover, 4 May 1826 – 29 Apr 1908

There is a paragraph from the description of this cemetery on the Hoovers:

“The earliest burials recorded are the children of Henry and Polly Hoover. Nancy in 1858 and Joyce in 1867. Henry died in 1898 and Polly ten years later, age 84 years, the oldest person buried here. They lived about a mile and a quarter west, near Lynn Chapel.”

Sincerely,

Ken Huffman
