RE: Bordenkircher/Keltz
Dear
Mr. Roll,
I am
responding to your email on behalf of my husband, Ken Huffman.
We live
in Virginia, and like many other USGenWeb coordinators, we manage our website
from a distance, so to speak. So, we are not very familiar with the living
individuals of Brown County per se. I suggest that you contact the Versailles
Area Genealogical & Historical Society (http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Estates/1925/).
They may know Mike Volk personally, or someone in his family, and could put you
in contact with them. The book, Cemeteries of Brown County, Illinois 1825-1972
was published in 1975, and Mr. Volk may still be living, and in that local
area.
For
reference purposes, the Volk family history referred to in the email is found
in The History of Brown County, Illinois, and is about 1 1/4 columns on pages
306-307.
I'm
sorry we could not be of more direct assistance in this matter.
Best of
luck in your search,
Laurie
Huffman
Brown
County ILGenWeb Co-Coordinator
