The Illinois Newspaper Project
The Illinois Newspaper Project is on microfilm and the film is available thru
inter-library loan. They also have a 134 page book "Newspapers in the
Illinois State Historical Library" that they will send free of charge upon
request. My copy is dated 1998 - I do not know if they have a later version
or not. This book details the newspapers available on microfilm in IL along
with the dates available, town and county of publication. There are also
quite a few newspaper articles from IL on my web site at:
