William Sprouse 81, died Tuesday
morning at two o'clock in his home in Mt. Sterling. Funeral services will be
held Thursday at two o'clock in the Hufnagel funeral home. Mr. Sprouse was born
in Marion, Ohio, Jan. 17, 1872 a son of George and Sarah Cameron Sprouse. He had
lived in Mt. Sterling for the past 60 years. He married Lillie Young Jan 19,
1898. She preceded him in death. Surving are two daughters, Alma Sprouse of
Alexandria, Va., and Mrs. Lucy Fisher of Mt. Sterling; a brother, Edward Sprouse
of Birmingham; a sister, Mrs. Mary Davidson of Marion, Ohio; three grandchildren
and a great grandchild.
