T. J.

What you find in the one name research letters is pretty much what I have on the Samuel Ray family. I believe that the Henry Flemming family next to the Rays in the 1860 Census has a very good change of being Cynthia's father and siblings. I checked the 1850 census but neither family appears there. Sorry, I couldn't do more.

Sincerely,

Ken Huffman

Mr. Huffman,

My name is Jan Acker and I am a descendant of Cynthia Flemming’s.   I came across the above message that you had replied to, and I wanted to make a correction on your findingsI believe that Cynthia is on the 1850 census under the name of FlemonCheck it out and see what you think.

I believe Fanny is Sinthia’s (Cynthia) Mother because I have a copy of a census where a Fanny is living with Cynthia after Samuel died.     I also have a Fanny Bell who married David Fleming 7-9-1826, in Orange county, IndianaI am going to try to see if they connect with the Fanny in Brown Co.

You may already be aware of these findings, but I wanted to let you know in case you were not.

Thank you,

Acker/Henry/Leverton/Ray
