Linda,
There are many places where
you can read the census. If you
live near a National Archive, like Denver or Washington DC. Sometimes your local
Public Library can get them for you. The LDS Family History Centers have them on
microfilm and online using Ancestry.com. Or you can purchase the subscription
from Ancestry.com and do the searches at home.
I
might mention that the 1900 census is difficult to search because there is no
index. You have to search the list entry by entry. Fortunately, you can narrow
things down to the County and Township to minimize the time you will have to
search.
I
hope this helps.
Sincerely,
Ken
Huffman

Thanks,

Yes, it is 1837, sorry about that. At least an error of that
magnitude is detectable. Yes Kate is the dau. of John and Anna. I also missed
that. The family relationships sections are not as reliable as the burial
entries. You may want to verify against the census records,1900 –1910.

Grandma's maiden name was
Hippen. I know there were tons of them. But
not mentioned in
surnames.
Would like to get more info on the Hippens and Easley's. I have
papers
that have Easley spelled as Iseli.
Grandma's name was Tetje
Gesina Hippen. I know there were a bunch of
kids. I'd like to get
her parents names and info.
I think they were in Brown County for a long
time.
Thanks for any help you can give me. They lived in PeaRidge
Township.
Uncle Roy still lives in Timewell.
