Ken is in California until the 30^th, so I am covering for him.

 

S. J. Huffman is Sophia J. Huffman, daughter of James Huffman and Mary J. Gordon Mansfield, and grand daughter of Henry S. Huffman and Elizabeth Harshman. She was born in Brown County in 1838, in between two brothers, John Henry 31 Mar 1834, and Francis Marion (Frank) 8 Feb 1841. She had at least two children with James Wilson: Sarah Ellen 26 Jan 1851, and John, about 1853. James Wilson apparently died between 1853 and 1861, and Sophia married 2^nd: John G. Mansir on 4 Apr 1861 in Brown County. They were the parents of five children: James, Francis, Richard, Robert, and Mary.

 

Sarah Ellen Wilson married Fernando DeWitt 26 Apr 1868 in Brown County.
