Subject: RE: Brown CO IL 1860 Census - HUME

Dear Letha,

In the 1860 census, Elmina Hume and a George T. Hume are in the home of Mirando Stone. A few houses earlier there is a Hume family I have not included. If you wish to have their listing, let me know.

I checked the 1870 and 1880 cenuses for Brown County but found no mention of a Minnie Lena, Minnie, or Lena Hume. I also checked cemetery listings, but did not find her name.

The marriage for Elmina Hume to Henry Hendricks is listed below. I did not find this couple in the 1870 census, but attempt to track them for you using the census search on Ancestry.com. or you can use this rescource yourself (I believe ) at any LDS Family History Center.

I hope these items are of some help to you. Don't hesitate to ask if you need more lookups. That's why we are here.

Subject: Brown CO IL 1860 Census - HUME

If I am presuming too much please excuse me. I understand from the Brown CO IL web page, I can request a lookup on the following:

HUME, Elmina V761

I would like to have the complete information on her from the census.

I am trying to find parents for Minnie Lena Hume but she would not be named on the 1860 census because she was born around 1860-1870 at Versailles, IL. If I can find out who Elmina HUME was married to, it would aid me in my parental search.

Thank you.
