Dear Fred,

Here are the lookups you requested. I have added what I believe is the marriage of David Perry. You may already have this information.

Cemeteries of Brown County, Illinois 1825-1972

West Side Cemetery, Versailles, pp. 370,383.

David Hodge Perry (14 Dec 1832-1 Jun 1910)

Amanda Melvina, wife of D. H. Perry (3 Oct 1835-9 Jan 1911)

PERRY, DAVID md. DROMMONS, MELVINA 01/04/1854 A&B/     00000304 BROWN  (Her actual surname may be Drummons or Drummonds, though I couldn't find any of the three forms in Brown County in 1850. Perhaps she came from a neighboring county?)

---

There are several Perry histories in our books, but none of them mentions David or his mother, Emaline/Emly/Milley. In regards to the question on David's mother, I am in the dark without more information, though I would assume that Emaline was the correct form of the name, with the other two being short versions the people used. I've done some searching and can't find his father's name. Do you know who is was?

I hope this is of some help to you.
