Paul,

I live in Virginia and have limited resources for doing searches. However, there are two historical organization in the Brown County area who may be able to help you find a person who can help. They are:

Schuyler-Brown Genealogical Society
200 South Congress
Rushville, IL 62681

Versailles Area Genealogical and Historical Society
P.O. Box 92
Versailles, IL 62378
Website - http://vaghs.tripod.com

I was able to search the 1860 and 1870 censuses:

1860 Census of Brown County, Illinois, Missouri Twp

1747/1687                   13 Sep 1860

Sarilda Six 37 f Indiana

John Six 40 m farmer Kentucky

Harvey Six 12 m Illinois

Jane Six 10 f Illinois

Sylvester Six 7 m Illinois

1870 Census of Brown County, Illinois, Missouri Twp

48/48               9 Jun 1870

Sarilda [sp. Serula in census] Six 45 f Kentucky

William H. Six 23 m farm labor Kentucky

Sylvester Six 17 m Illinois

Jane Six 21 f Illinois

Here is a marriage I found that may be the William mentioned above:

SIX, WILLIAM H  JACKSON, SARAH E    10/20/1870 C  /81   1149     BROWN

This came from http://www.cyberdriveillinois.com/GenealogyMWeb/marrsrch.html

Hope this helps a little,

Sincerely,

Ken Huffman

Her name was:
