   I am sending this picture I took of the old Star Bridge in Brown County, thought you might enjoy seeing it. I remember crossing over this bridge many many times on our way to grandpa Bill Petri's house near the old LaGrange lock and dam site.

   I think it is crossing Crooked Creek, tho perhaps that is incorrect.

   When I heard years ago they were taking the old bridge down, and replacing it, I hurried for a quick shot or two. Now I am sure glad I did. I use it as a chapter heading in my family history book, which I am taking forever to finish!

   I have a copy of this ready to take to Versailles and I wondered if the Brown County unit would want one too.
