My gggrandfather Sephas Carey Harris
was married Dec. 20, 1855 in Carthage IL. He married Lucretia Emiley
Fordyce. Sephas fought in the Civil War and moved to SD. Any assitance
you can give about families of either of these people would be
wonderful.

MARVIN, SHELLEY: Looking for any info on John A. MARVIN (b.
1837)
& his wife, Mariah Louisa SHELLEY (b. 1837) dau. of Eli & Abigail
Parkins SHELLEY,
both of Cooperstown, Brown Co, IL. Marvins moved (possibly) to
Marshall City, in Clark Co, sometime after 1880. There is a John
MARVIN with wife Mariah in that city in 1900, but are they the
John & Mariah I'm looking for? Need to find any descendants or
relatives of this couple. The Marshall City couple had a dau. named
Jennie who
married William VAUGHAN, married in Clark Co. in 1895.

Elijah Davis b. about 1817 in Ky. and married 8-23-1837 in Cass Co.,
Illinois. Know there are some Shoopmans are in Brown Co., wondering if
any know anything about Elizabeth and Elijah.

Looking for descendants of Charles Walker. He was married twice 1)
Elizabeth (Maddox) Linn about 1872 and 2) Isabelle (Belle) Oatman Scott
about 1885. His death certificate in Brown Co., IL 1921 states that he
was the son of John and Dorothy (Hillis) Walker. Had one brother,
Robert, that I know of at this time. Am interested in any information on
this man, his parents, siblings and descendants. Also willing to share
what I have.

Looking for the more information on the family of Elizabeth Maddox/Mattox.
Married Robert F. Linn/Lynn and then Charles Walker. Her sister,
Lucinda,
was Robert Linn's first wife. Her mother was probably Sarah or Catherine,
was father Pleasant Madox who died in 1849? Mother born where in KY? Her
maiden name? Brothers and sisters other than Lucinda include: William,
Alfred, Margaret, Eliza Jane and Henry. Am interested in any information on
this woman, her parents, siblings and descendants. Also willing to share
what I have.
Looking for information on James Walker. He was the son of Charles Walker
and Elizabeth (Mattox) Linn. Had sisters Harriet and Mary. Married 1) Eda
Estella Walker and had children: Mary Elizabeth and Nina Marie
2) Pearl Ashcraft and had more children. Where did he live with second wife? Who
were their children? When and where did he die? Have parents and
