Miss Florence Arvin Dead
Miss Florence
Arvin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Arvin of Timewell, and a sister of Gilbert
Arvin, who was killed in action in France some time ago, died a the family home
Friday afternoon, of influenza, after a brief illness. She was about 20 years of
age.

Miss Flossie Arvin
died last Friday afternoon of influenza after a short illness. She was the only
daughter of R. E. Arvin and wife, and was 20 years old in July. Miss Arvin had
many friends and was very popular, and a beautiful singer. She was a member of
the Christian church. She was born in Missouri, and leaves, besides her parents,
two brothers, Earl, at home, and Gus, in France. Funeral services were conducted
at the Mound cemetery Sunday afternoon by Rev. W. A. Taylor of Bowen.
