Violet M. Test age 94 of Jacksonville, Illinois and formerly of Mt. Sterling passed away at 3:40 a.m. Saturday, June 17, 2006 at Prairie Village Health Care Center in Jacksonville.
She was born December 2, 1911 in Brown County, Illinois the daughter of Frank M. and Priscilla Worthington Bond. She married Guy Test and he preceded her in death.
Mrs. Test was a nurses aid at Our Saviors Hospital in Jacksonville, Illinois for 16 years retiring in 1981. She had also assisted several area elderly residents in their homes and in the hospital. Mrs. Test was a member of Our Savior Catholic Church in Jacksonville, Illinois. She was known as a loving person and always enjoyed spending time with her family, especially traveling with her family to Branson, Missouri.
Survivors include 1 daughter Priscilla French and 1 grandson Ronald Eugene French both of Jacksonville, Illinois. She was preceded in death by 1 son Francis Eugene Test and 1 daughter Barbara Ann Test.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2006 at the Mt. Sterling Catholic Cemetery with Father Thomas Henseler officiating. There will be no visitation.
